Let me start of by stating i'm not a long time customer but have been going to this shop for about a year now and it has always been great/ an experience everytime I walk through the front door.

BARBERS:
I have always had Leroy hook me up cause he does fire work but I have seen the guys/gurls work next to/around him and they all throw down just ask one of them and the'll take care of you. Leroy knows how to ask you what you want and give it to you but even if you want to try something different he knows how to give you suggestions and give ya that extra push to try it. They now have a Hair stylest by the name of Lulu. I dont color my hair but she be throwing down as well with cuts,styles and colors + nails now.

ENVIORMENT:
The atmosphere in this place is always lively from 7A.M all the way to close. If there is not a movie playing you can bet your bottom dollar music will be on and if you dont get up and dance/sing the barbers might beat you to the punch LOL. Its always a good time though and you will at least laugh 3 times before seating down for your cut. If this does not sound like your cup of tea I would still highly recommend to try out the barbers and let the clippers speak for themselves prosmise youll leave happy and looking fresh to death.

CONCLUSION:
Great Barbers with big personalities, open and inviting enviorment, great for kids to adults + summer is coming around and it's six corners so lots of events coming and cook outs so be on the look out.

Their are some places that don't need introductions and Leroy Ave is a perfect example. Words don't do this shop justice. You would have to come in to experience the service that is provided to every customer. The owner himself will do all he can to ensure you are satisfied. This shop really knows how to take care of their customers. All the barbers are trustworthy and you can count on walking out of this shop with a great cut. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a quick cut or a new shop.

Fuggeddabout!!!! My man Leroy is the top off the line. At the age of 45 I've searched for the best cut. This Guy has it down and hooked me me up every time. I own my own business so its important to look tight, and Leroy spends the time to make me presentable every time .

Needed a last minute haircut and found Leroy's in a search! They took me in without an appointment and I received a great cut! Nice guys, great atmosphere and Leroy himself was cool to chat with! Satisfied.

Best in the Business!! I knew Leroy back when he was a teen cutting hair in his mom's basement. Even then (like 15 year ago) he was a monster. Now, he has his own full service shop, a whole clan of wicked-sick barbers, and years of experience giving the baddest fades in the land. He's a good man, with a great heart, and an A-game "flick-of-the-wrist" like none other when it comes to the fade game. Hit him up. . . BEAST!!!

Long time customer... for a reason. Hands down on par with the best barbers in the city. Fades and linings are second to none. Often there can be a wait but go at off peak hours and you'll only have a person or two in front of you. He's a perfectionist and it shows. He can cut all types of hair from the straightest to the kinkiest so everyone is welcome. He has an in house stylist and groomer for the female set so don't think he's forgotten you ladies. So as not to leave them out, it is my opinion that the other barbers cutting at Leroy Ave. (whom i've not had cut my hair) do an excellent job with all their clients I've witnessed having left happy.

One of the best barbers ive been to only thing its by appt only and you have to call at 7am the day of to make the appt the later you call the less chances to get the time slot u want cuz this guy gets booked unless u go tues or weds but hes really good

Update leroys is no longer appt only he has more barbers now and takes walk ins my review was based on when he first opened the shop and was cutting hair by himself only if your located up north this is the go to shop hands down ..ask for leroy ave fades and linings are sick

This is a great place for getting hair cuts and beard trims. They have decent prices and child prices as well in case you want to bring the your ones along. The atmosphere is always upbeat and fun. All the staff is easy to get a long with and respectful.

I personally always get my haircuts with Manny. He was recommended to me by my brother in law and it was just in time. Prior to finding him I went to multiple barber shops around Chicago without being able to find the right one. Now I wouldn't go to anyone else but manny or any other place.

I definitely would advise anyone to give this place a try at least once. You will not regret it.
